You’ll push existing products further and bring new prototypes to life with both state-of-the-art and experimental methods. In practice, that means:
- Exploring advanced algorithms, controllers, calibration, digital signal processing and finding what actually works on hardware
- Implementing those algorithms in C++ and Python (and Matlab/Simulink when it fits)
- Designing and running test benches that reveal true system performance
- Building software for data acquisition and processing
- Identifying dynamic system properties
- Connecting the stack end to end: embedded firmware, middleware, backends, and analysis platforms
- Hunting down and fixing interoperability issues across systems and devices
