- Work on the development, design, and maintenance of safety-critical software components for robotic systems Implement complex features, resolve critical defects, and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and development processes
- Deploy and validate software on safety-sensitive robotic platforms and support integration and system testing
- Perform root cause analysis for system-level failures and drive corrective and preventive actions
- Identify technical and safety risks early and drive mitigation strategies throughout the development lifecycle
- Mentor and support other engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and design discussions
- Contribute to hazard analyses, safety assessments, and certification activities where applicable

Your role
Your experience and qualifications
- University degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or comparable field (or equivalent professional experience)
- 5+ years of professional experience developing software in modern C++ • Experience developing safety-critical software systems is a plus
- Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 13849, ISO 10218, or similar) and code standards like MISRA
- Experience developing under Linux
- Experience with embedded platforms and/or real-time systems is highly desirable
- Good English communication skills; German is a plus
