Reliability and Performance Engineer Robotics (m/f/d)

Your role

You are part of the Diagnostics and Testing Team which focuses on product quality.
Your work is in close collaboration with product development to set test requirements and specifications
You are responsible for designing and executing reliability tests (e.g., accelerated life testing, stress testing)
You are responsible for designing and executing tests to measure the performance of robotic systems, including speed, accuracy, repeatability, and efficiency.
You are responsible for the evaluation and statistical analysis of the results
You are responsible for conducting failure analysis and root cause investigations to improve system performance.
You are documenting and communicating the test reports and results to the stakeholders
You are responsible for designing and implementing state of the art performance metrics and requirements through product lifecycle

Your experience & qualifications

Academic degree in STEM fields • Strong understanding of robotics, including mechanical, electrical, and software components.
2+ years of experience in programing robot arms
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++.
Proficiency in systems for data monitoring, visualization, and analysis.
Experience in using common tools and techniques used to model and evaluate the reliability level of a system
Experience in statistical analysis and benchmarking methods
Experience in working with laser tracking systems, force / torque sensors, position sensors and electrical motors
Structured and well-organized working methods
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Fluent in English
Driver license B category
